Hey everybody! I know everyone is getting ready for the holidays but I would appreciate it if you could take 47.8 seconds out of your day to take a quick survey! I am in the final stages of securing the movies for the UACCM movie nights and Union Station Presents and thought I’d get some outside input on which movies everyone would like to see. Rather than go and discuss favorite movies with everyone I can find, I just picked some movies that cover a pretty broad range of categories and I just need you to rate them on a scale from 1-10! There is also an option at the very bottom to suggest a movie that isn’t actually on the list! Thanks for the info!

Graduation Reminder!
Two is better than one.
As a result of consistently having record setting admissions every year, the number of UACCM graduates continues to grow by record numbers as well! With growth comes change. This year we have decided it would be best to divide our Commencement ceremony scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2010 into two separate ceremonies to be able to accommodate our increasing number of graduates and their families! Graduating students will receive a letter from the Registrar's Office concerning which of the two ceremonies they are scheduled to attend. Here is the current list of how the ceremonies will be divided up.

Important Book Information
Want to Buy/Sell Used Books?
(read the bold stuff for the quick version… I won’t be offended.)
Ok, so we have a lot of students trying to sell books via mass email. Don't do that! It really isn’t a good idea considering that sending out un-authorized mass emails will get you in trouble with Computer Services, get your email account banned, you don’t get your books sold, and I’m pretty sure that it causes a butterfly effect/chain reaction that leads to a major natural disaster somewhere in the world.
So now you might be thinking, “What do I do with these books that I have!?” or perhaps “Oh my, I need to buy used books and I don’t know of anyone selling them!” No worries! There is hope!
The quickest and easiest way to buy/sell used books is to simply go to the University Book Store! They are open weekdays 7:30 am to 5pm. Please contact the bookstore for more information about the dates they will be buying back books. (501) 977-2127
Another option is Facebook! I have started a discussion tab where people can post books they need or books they have for sale without cluttering up our wall! YAY!
Yes it is that easy!
P.S. Yes, if you clicked on this link from Facebook, this post is simply telling you that you now have to go to back to Facebook. I just couldn't type this whole description in a Facebook comment.

Night of Luminaries!
Tomorrow night (Dec. 2) is the UACCM Night of Luminaries! After the Morrilton Christmas Parade, everyone is invited to take a drive through campus that will be beautifully lit with luminary bags decorated by kids from local schools! Once you have finished the drive through campus, please join us in the plaza for cookies and hot cider as well as a chance to meet Santa!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WITH THURSDAY EVENING CLASSES:
Due to the annual Night of Luminaries free holiday event scheduled for this Thursday, December 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, we ask that you take note of and abide by the following changes in the entrances/exits to/from UACCM that evening:
• For the safety of Night of Luminaries volunteers and patrons, traffic through campus will be one-way beginning at 5:00 pm. Outside traffic is asked to enter campus using the Bruce Street Entrance on the east end of campus and exit through the newest university Boulevard exit on the far west end of campus.
• The main University Boulevard entrance will be closed completely to thru traffic beginning shortly after 4:30 pm on Thursday. Those leaving the University Center/BTC parking lot after this time will need to use the newest University Boulevard exit, located west of the University Center.
• Please do not enter campus using the newest University Boulevard entrance. A portion of the entrance will be blocked off.
• Please do not exit campus using the Bruce Street exit. A portion of the exit will also be blocked off.
Thank you for your cooperation with Night of Luminaries! We hope to see you there!
