UACCM HAPPENINGS FOR THE REMAINDER OF OCTOBER

The deadline to register for the Introduction to Microsoft Excel course at the Community Education Center, offered October 22-26, has been extended to Friday, October 19. Anyone interested in enrolling can do so online at . Enrollment can also be done in person at the Community Education Center, located at 600 North Saint Joseph Street in Morrilton, or by phone by calling Stephanie Ellis at 501-215-4898.

Registration is open until Monday (October 22) for 5-Week III condensed-term fall courses. Book appointments online at least 24 hours in advance. Tuition is due at time of registration.

Schedule your advising appointments now for Spring 2013 classes, available Nov. 5-7 for returning students and Nov. 12 for new students. Additional dates will be added as the others fill. Tuition due by January 2.

October 18: Last day of diaper and baby wipe drive sponsored by UACCM's chapter of Phi Beta Lambda to benefit the Arkansas Diaper Depot. Boxes are located around campus for new packages of diapers and baby wipes.

October 18: Flag football during X-period (12:05-12:55) at the Intramural Field

October 22: 5 Week-II courses end. Last day to drop 5-Week III fall courses with 100% refund.

October 23: 5-Week III courses begin.

POSTPONED (originally October 23): Advanced Drafting students will present their Tech II designs at the Fine Arts Auditorium at 1:30 p.m.

October 23 & 24: Movie and Popcorn at Union Station (room 105 of Kirk Building) showing “Hunger Games” Oct. 23 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m.

October 24: Wednesday Billiards at Union Station 2:00 p.m.

October 25: Austin Willacy (musician) will perform in Union Station at 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

October 26 & 27: Soundscape presents “Live, Laugh, Love” at the Plaza. Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 in advance at the student accounts window of the C. Nathan Crook University Center.

October 30: Student Activities presents the 2012 Fall Fest "Zombie Howl" sponsored by SGA from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Union Square in the Kirk Building. They'll have a lot going on, including the 2nd Annual RSO Chili Cook Off, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, 200 ft. zip line, rock wall, and more! Dress in costume or come as you are and get involved in Fall Fest.
