Fayetteville Shale Scholarships - Spring 2013
UACCM is taking applications for leftover Fayetteville Shale Scholarships for the current semester.
Requirements:
• Petroleum Technology Major
• Need based on Cost of Attendance Budget (Will be checked by the Financial Aid Office)
• Full-time student with at least six hours of courses that count towards the Petroleum Technology plan of study
• Returning Petroleum Technology students are required to have a minimum 2.75 semester GPA
• First-semester students will be awarded based on high school GPA, ACT scores, or COMPASS scores
• High School GPA must be a 2.75 or higher.
• Students using ACT scores must have a minimum score of 17 on math, 19 on reading, and 19 on English.
• Students using the COMPASS scores must have a minimum score of 26 on algebra or 49 on pre-algebra, 83 on reading, and 77 on writing.
• Students who have completed 12 or more hours (including developmental) at another college or university must have a 2.75 or higher transfer GPA. The transfer GPA supersedes any HS GPA or test scores.

Trauma/EMT Scholarship Grant Program – Spring 2013
UACCM is taking applications for Trauma/EMT Scholarship Grants for the current semester.
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in the 8 hour EMT class this Spring 2013 semester
• Awarded based on financial need of the student with preference going to students that do not qualify for other types of need based aid (excluding student loans)

Lance Cunningham Memorial Scholarship – Spring 2013
The UACCM Financial Aid Office is taking applications for the Spring 2013 Lance Cunningham Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is for $150. The only requirement is the student must be pursuing an Air Conditioning/Refrigeration major. Applications can be picked up in the Financial Aid Office.
Deadline: March 15, 2013

Faulkner County Master Gardeners Scholarship – Fall 2013
This is a scholarship to assist a Conway County, Faulkner County, or Perry County resident in pursuing a post-secondary degree in a plant science related field, including but not limited to horticulture, botany, agronomy, forestry, plant science, landscape architecture/design, and turf management. FCMG will award two scholarships in the amounts of $1,500 and $1,000.

Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .

UACCM Eclipse Parking

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. FOR VISITORS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  Purchase an eclipse parking pass for $100 from the either of the tents located on University Boulevard  (🟧 on map). You are allowed to park anywhere in eclipse parking (blue on map). FOR STUDENTS VIEWING ECLIPSE:  You are allowed to park in eclipse parking (blue on map), free of charge. You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.  FOR STUDENTS CONDUCTING BUSINESS: You may park in the parking lot in front of the UC and BTC (pink on map). You must present a valid and current UACCM Student ID at either tent located on University Boulevard (🟧 on map). A UACCM campus parking pass is also required.

Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? I am majoring in General Education. Once I finish with my associate degree here at UACCM, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas Medical School (UAMS) to further my education in Sonography.
