UACCM FOUNDATION MOVES ‘JUST DESSERTS’ TO FALL

2013 Just Desserts
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation will move its annual “Just Desserts” fundraiser to September beginning this year.

 As the foundation’s board of directors prepares for its 2014 annual fund campaign, board members decided to balance the fundraising schedule by keeping the annual “Links for Learning” golf tournament in May and moving Just Desserts to the fall.

 UACCM Foundation Board Secretary and 2013 “Just Desserts” Event Co-Chair Rhonda Trowbridge said, “For the past 11 years, community support has made ‘Just Desserts’ a successful fundraiser for our organization. We know it is a staple in this community and we hope this move will give us an opportunity to put a new spin on the event that will allow us to continue it for many years to come.”

 As a part of the annual fund campaign, friends of UACCM will have many opportunities to contribute to the foundation throughout the year including these two established fundraising events.

 The UACCM Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide broader opportunities and services to UACCM's students, alumni, and the residents of the college’s service area by supporting the advancement of the institution.

  The following guidelines apply to any vehicles parked on the UACCM campus at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023

  Earlier this month, Zaybrau Williams, from Dardanelle, was named Miss UACCM in the fifteenth annual Miss UACCM pageant.  Zaybrau was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the UACCM’s Chancellor’s Office, a floral bouquet courtesy of Plummer’s Flowers and Gifts, Morrilton, and gifts cards from Elia’s Mexican Grill, Morrilton, and Red Barn Market, Conway. Get to know Miss UACCM 2023, Zaybrau Williams, a little more. Why did you choose UACCM? I chose UACCM because of the community size and the various opportunities that are available to me. From being raised in a small community, UACCM felt like home. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming, it made choosing UACCM so easy. What are your educational and career goals? Student Onboarding Due March 25

In preparation for Fall 2024 advising & registration, students should log into Workday and complete a series of tasks called Student Onboarding : Students should log in to Workday and complete these tasks:  Navigate to  myapps.microsoft.com  in a web browser.  Log in with your UACCM email and password when prompted. You may also be prompted to authenticate using an authenticator app or secure code.  A dashboard with multiple apps will display. Locate the blue app titled “Workday” and select it.  You are now logged into Workday!  Once logged in, you will do the Federal Student Aid Authorization and then complete My Tasks .  This will include such things editing your contact information (if necessary), editing your personal information (if necessary), adding My Friends and Family (emergency contact information), and other tasks. When entering your My Friends and Family information, you must select Emergency Contact as one of the relationship types or you will get an error message .
