CORDER JOINS UACCM FOUNDATION BOARD

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton Foundation Board announces Michele Corder as its newest member.

Corder and her husband, Neil, live in Conway, but Michele was born and raised in Morrilton. A graduate of Morrilton High School, Corder continued her education at the University of Central Arkansas and completed a travel degree at South Central Career College in Little Rock. After working in the industry for four years, she opened and ran a travel agency in Conway from 1993 until 2001. At that time, she went into the mortgage industry and is currently working as a mortgage lender with Wonder State Mortgage.

Corder said she joined the board because she wanted to be involved with an organization that gives back to the community through education and jobs. Corder added, “I believe that UACCM is a huge asset to not only Conway County but also the surrounding counties. I am excited for this
opportunity and hope that I can help make a lasting impact.”

The UACCM Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation established to raise funds, accept gifts, and invest resources for the sole benefit of the college. The Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors whose mission is to provide broader opportunities and services to UACCM's students, alumni, and the residents of the college’s service area by supporting the advancement of the institution.
